Dr. Raso
Louis J. Raso, M.D. specializes in Interventional Pain Management and holds double-board certifications in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He received his M.D. degree in 1985 from Rutgers Medical School and completed his training in Anesthesiology and Pain management at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia Pa. Following 4 years of medical school, Dr. Raso completed 2 years of Surgical Training and an additional 3 years of training in anesthesiology, with the last year being dedicated solely to interventional pain management. He then had to pass a rigorous set of examinations. Dr. Raso has also received Board Certification in Pain Management from the American Board of Anesthesiology.
He is a solo-practitioner in Jupiter Florida and has travelled throughout the United States and abroad lecturing and instructing other physicians in spinal cord stimulation and Pain Management. Dr. Raso dedicates every day to finding new treatments for his patients and participates in leading technology and research. He has published numerous journal articles (many which are forthcoming on this site) and has written various chapters in books on interventional pain management.
